Start the day with a sweet or savoury breakfast, or join us for our daily lunch dish. Our menu also includes Swabian classics, soups and salads. For coffee, choose a slice of cake from our own bakery at the counter.

For a birthday, family celebration, a funeral reception or a visit with your tour group, please contact us in advance. We will discuss your date, approximate guest count and plans, then confirm your table reservation personally.

When is the café open?
Daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., weekends included.
Until when is breakfast served?
We serve breakfast until 11 a.m., from the small sweet breakfast to the Vital breakfast and breakfast for two with prosecco. Our menu shows the full choice.
Is there a hot lunch?
Yes. Our dish of the day changes every day, alongside Swabian classics, soups and salads. This week’s dishes are on the Menu page; the dish of the day is served while stocks last.
Do I need to reserve a table?
You are welcome to just drop in. If you want to be sure of a table, reserve by phone on +49 9081 4319 or with the contact form; for the same day, calling is best.
Can I sit outside?
In good weather you can sit on our terrace on the market square, looking out at the Daniel and the old town. Inside, the café has about 110 seats.
Can you host groups and coaches?
Yes. For tour groups, family celebrations and funeral gatherings we agree tables, dishes and time with you in advance. Just tell us the date and roughly how many guests.
