Konditorei-Café Altreuter at Marktplatz 11 in Nördlingen bakes cakes in its own bakery. The house speciality is Rieskratertorte. The café is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with slices to eat in or take away.

At Konditorei Altreuter, Marktplatz 11, next to the Daniel. We bake our cakes and gateaux in our own bakery. You will find the day’s selection at the counter. The café is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
What is the house speciality?
Our Rieskratertorte. Its layers stand for the Ries crater. We also bake classics such as Black Forest gateau, Käsesahne (a cream cheese torte), hazelnut cream torte, Sachertorte, Prinzregententorte and Viennese apple strudel.
Can I take cake away or order a whole cake?
Yes. You can take slices away from the counter. Whole cakes, including for weddings, birthdays and anniversaries, need to be ordered in advance, by phone or with the cake enquiry form.
How much is a slice of cake?
You will find the prices in our menu as a PDF and at the counter in the café. For a whole cake we send you a quote once we know the size and design.
How early should I order a whole cake?
As soon as you have a date. Wedding cakes and more elaborate designs in particular need some notice; whether we can make it for that day is something we confirm with you in person.
