Parking and getting here
The house has no parking of its own. You can stop briefly at the Obstmarkt opposite to unload. For longer parking, ask at the tourist information office.
The hotel rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors and reached by stairs only. The bike room, with e-bike charging, is open until 5:30 p.m.

Where is Café-Hotel Altreuter in Nördlingen?
At Marktplatz 11, 86720 Nördlingen, next to the Daniel and inside the town wall, which survives in full. The café, pastry shop and guest rooms are all in this one building.
Is it central for the town wall, the Daniel and the old town?
Yes. The Daniel stands right next to the house, and the old town and the way up onto the wall are within walking distance. The RiesKraterMuseum is in the town centre too.
Is there parking at the house?
We don’t have a car park of our own, I’m afraid. To unload, pull up at the Obstmarkt just across the square. There and elsewhere in the old town you can park for 90 minutes free with a parking disc. You need the disc Mon–Fri 8 a.m.–5 p.m. and Sat 8 a.m.–2 p.m., not in the evening or on Sundays. Staying longer? The tourist office sells the town’s parking permit: €5.00 for your whole stay. Do keep an eye on the signs, for example during the Christmas market.
How do I get here by train?
Nördlingen station is on the line between Aalen and Donauwörth, just outside the town wall. From there it is a few minutes’ walk through the gate into the old town and on to the market square.
Can I leave my bike with you?
Hotel guests can use our lockable bike room with charging for e-bikes. It is open until 5:30 p.m.; if you arrive later, please let us know in advance.
