Stabenfest in Nördlingen The parade crosses the square
Schoolchildren carrying flower-decked staffs gather with their families on the market square. For many people in Nördlingen the Staben parade is part of the year, and visiting relatives can stay with us.

A festival for children and families
On Staben Monday, schoolchildren parade through the old town and gather in front of St. Georg before continuing to the Kaiserwiese.
We also have family rooms with four beds. Please bear in mind that all hotel rooms are reached by stairs only.

Stairs: Our rooms are on the second and third floors, two and three flights up, and are reached by stairs only. There is no lift. We will help with your luggage.

When is the Stabenfest in 2027?
From Friday 7 to Monday 10 May 2027. The Staben parade starts on Monday 10 May at 9:30 a.m., weather permitting. From 7 a.m. the flag on the Daniel shows whether it will go ahead.
Can you see the parade from the hotel?
Yes, the parade crosses the square right in front of our hotel. We cannot promise a particular view from your room, though.
Is the festival tent at the door?
No. The festival tent and rides are on the Kaiserwiese, where the parade ends.
